We all hear about the problems in Parts of Africa, the Congo, Sudan, Rwanda etc.
and wonder how we can possibly effect the situation without knowing who, what,
where, when, and how. Prizm doesn't just start fundraising for a cause without
having direct knowledge and relationships with an area or disaster when we
engage in a project such as this. In the Congo, problems are so complicated, so
we entertain projects where we can realize measurable results in urgent micro
situations. The Walikale situation was brought to our attention and is within
our criteria. The situation IS urgent.
